Scope

City & County of San Francisco Year 2000 remediation, contingency planning and public eduction efforts.

 

Deliverable

  • Prepared the Program Charter where the goals, objectives, risks, assumptions, organizational structure, team organization, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structure and deliverables are identified and defined.
  • Translated government & city policies and strategies (BCP, Risk, Disaster, Crisis Management) into specific program requirements.
  • Prepared and maintained project plans and tracked activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports.
  • Worked with 13 Mission-critical departments to aggregate reporting on remediation efforts.
  • Supported remediation efforts with independent consultant / contractors.
  • Developed System Testing plans and performed Date Advance Testing for the San Francisco Police Department Computer Aided Dispatch (911) systems (Tiburon product). Coordinated with city departments (Sheriff, Police, Fire, IT) and vendor during the testing of the system.
  • Tracked all City & County remediation materials and managed library of documentation.
  • Worked with Public Information Office to support development of education materials.
  • Developed Mayor Emergency Center Table Top Exercises for critical city departments, managed exercises and follow up action items.
  • Created executive materials for presentation to; Mayor, Board of Supervisors, Department Directors, and city staff.
  • Supported City & County Y2k On Call Team. Deployed to Hall of Justice; supporting DPT, Sheriff, and Police.
  • Completed Lessons Learned and Project Closure.
